The Engaged Enterprise: A Field Guide for the Servant- Leader lays out five core principles that leaders at all levels can use to build a culture where people consistently make the extra effort to achieve the best possible results.
To illustrate those principles, the book is filled with compelling stories, many drawn from the author’s experience as a top Human Resources executive at Cleveland Clinic, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and the combined Hewlett Packard/Compaq/Digital Computer companies.

These exercises are intended as a tool for management reflection, which is just a term for thinking deeply about your business and your role as a leader. This kind of focused reflection is critical to our development as leaders; it helps to foster the attitudes, beliefs, and emotional intelligence that define us as leaders.
